Welcome to the Tweed & Area Chamber of Commerce
The Tweed & Area Chamber of Commerce is a not for profit volunteer organization dedicated to the growth and advancement of area businesses and organizations.
We are committed to the development, promotion, and enhancement of a vital and stimulating community for residents and visitors alike.
The Tweed & Area Chamber of Commerce supports and promotes area businesses, organizations, and events through the encouragement of economic and social development in Tweed and area.
With our 2016/2017 year came new events for the Tweed & Area Chamber of Commerce. We held our first annual Classic Car Show, and will continue annually, on the 3rd Saturday in June. Our first annual Tweed & Area Artisan Road Trip, which visits all stops on the Tweed & Area Studio Tour, and will be held again Sept 22, 2018. We have had the opportunity to show our support and be a part of many community events and look to continue with our 2017/2018 year. Watch our website and Facebook page for all events, workshops and news for our coming year.
The Tweed Dollars and Shop Local campaign are Tweed & Area Chamber of Commerce initiative launched in November of 2013, and has received overwhelming support from our local merchants and members of the community. With so much to offer in Tweed, we are doing our part to remind everyone to shop in Tweed and help support your local businesses, neighbours, and friends.
