WINTER CARNIVAL\TWEED FAIR\HARVEST FEST
The Tweed-Hungerford Agricultural Society plans many great events for families throughout the year. Family Day weekend if February is host to the Tweed Winter Carnival, First weekend in July is the Tweed Fair, and last weekend in September is Harvest Fest. With events all weekend long, you will find that one day is just not enough and will want to enjoy the whole weekend.
Trudeau Park is pleased to be home to the Tweed Stampede, and in 2016 is celebrating this as a 6th annual event. Come and see the best cowboys and cowgirls in the business as they compete in this weekend long event that will make you wish the weekend was a few days longer.
TWEED ELVIS FESTIVAL
For those of you wishing to see the King of Rock ‘n Roll, you will not be disappointed as some of the best Elvis Tribute Artists from across Canada and the world compete to be the best. Don’t be afraid to wear your best cape and sequin pant suit and join in the fun!
FESTIVAL OF TREES
Tweed Festival of Trees is a breathtakingly beautiful event. When the lights are turned out and the dozens of Christmas trees shine, you will witness why the crowds flock to Tweed every year to witness this amazing celebration.
CLASSIC CAR SHOW
The 3rd Saturday in June marks the date for the Tweed & Area Chamber of Commerce Classic Car Show. Held at beautiful Victoria Park in the shores of Stoco Lake, you cannot ask for a better backdrop for all the Classic Cars that come out to spend the day in Tweed. The Kiwanis Pavilion is lined with Vendors, there is entertainment and food vendors as well. You cannot ask for a better way to spend a day in Tweed.
